Welfare Services
Services we offer
Supporting Residents to Improve Financial Wellbeing and Independence
DABD’s Welfare Services Team provides expert advice, advocacy, and practical support to residents experiencing financial hardship, vulnerability, or complex life challenges. We help older people, disabled residents, young carers, families, and vulnerable households access the benefits, services, and support they are entitled to.
Our services include welfare benefits advice, income maximisation, energy efficiency and fuel poverty support, advocacy, and specialist assistance for young carers and households affected by welfare reform.
Working in partnership with local authorities, community organisations, and Cadent, we deliver a holistic, person-centred service that helps residents increase their income, reduce energy costs, improve wellbeing, and build long-term financial resilience.
